Hi
I hold a H1b Visa but did not work after coming to US.
Can anybody guide me regarding my current status.
My H1 was approved in 2007 quota and i entered US in march 2008..but was not successful in getting a job and my employer is not running any payroll..
can anybody help me with this??

There are people from EB3 with PD from 2001 ( yeah, TWO THOUSAND AND ONE) who are maintaining their EB status diligently by having a steady job and waiting and waiting and waiting for their GC to come.
Now, you coolly come and say what you have just said and have the gall to ask for advice.
The same applies to other poster 'nehas' also who had a similar question.

How come they have not posted the demand data for the Dec. bulliten? We need to make sure they post the information to prevent them from moving the date in consistent with their policy. Someone raised the question related to EB3 Mexco... one year vs. the rest 1 or 2 weeks. Mexico should have the slowest movement as its demand is very high based on the Nov. demand data. In addition, Mexico must have a lot of cases in the field office as they can't even predict its movement as indicated in the Dec. bulliten.
Bottom line... we need to closely monitor all the numbers... ideally reconcile them. Otherwise, their imcompetency and unethical behavior will mess up the bulliten again. :rolleyes:

Can anyone give me the combination of numbers to dial to speak to an IO for the texas centre?I know its been passed around before but i just cant seem to find it .Thanks a lot in advance..Also do you think its any use me calling rite now,my PD is EB2 India..aug 2003..Applied in june.Is it too soon to try ...just itching to call once:)Thanks again for any help.

Hello Leo,
I am not a lawyer so don't take my word ... but this is what I have heard.
Labour thru PERM takes 45 to 60 days (considering company has to publish ad and stuff)...
You can file I-140 and I-485 only after your Labour is approved. And you can file them concurrently if the dates for India are current.
Regarding how long the dates will remain current, I don't think anyone would have the right answer. Atleast we know it is current till next bulletein comes in.

my freind labor thru PERM is taking upto 150-180 days if ur application is in Atlanta.....they are hatching the files......saala when dates are current my labor in not clear......kya karega pandu jab kismet saala g&%*$u

Want to travel from US to Indore, India. As I need to change planes either Mumbai or Delhi, how does it work?
1. I came to know that in Mumbai, it is just change of terminals, not airports. Am I right?
In Mumbai, you need to go from the international part to the domestic part. They are pretty close. Usually the airline will arrange buses to take all the passengers to the domestic part. However, you need to collect your luggage and clear customs and immigration before that.
2. How about Delhi? Once I arrive at International airport in Delhi, to catch a domestic flight to Indore, is it change of airports or just change of terminals? Is there a shuttle provided?

If your last FP was more than 15 months ago, then write to local congressman, that usually works.
But would you get a notice or RFE or something like that....I am asking because i am my spouse both have recieved RFE's today....so wanted to assume something till we get the actual mail.

I plan to transfer the priority date of an old LC to a new one. My attorney said my case won't work, since the two LCs belong to the same company and the positions (job titles) are the same. She indicates at least one of them needs be different.
I spent a whole night and cannot find any info about this.

Paper filed AP in TSC on Oct 28th 2009 & received the document on Dec 24th 2009 by mail.

My friend who is a contractor in the company where I am working, is right now on H1B. He is a very hard worker and cheerful fellow. My employer (among big5 tech companies in US) offered him fulltime position.
His EAD is going to be expired soon, as he is a july 07 filer. He is worried that if he joins my employer at this point, and if he doesn't get his EAD renewed in time, he would be in trouble.
He already sent papers for renew but haven't heard back. After six weeks, his current EAD will expire.
can anyone guide, what are his options? my employer will not file H1B. is there anything like interim EAD?

I am working for a very good Indian company and I worked for 3 very bad Indian companies.I feel the real difference between Good and Bad companies.With good company you never have to worry about your salary and legal things.With bad company you always have to worry about those things.
