first of all let me thank you very much for your quick inputs
I have a H1B stamp which , as I said, expires march 01/2007 .
The lawyer will fill for extension first week of september .
Maybe, the application will be pending for 1, 2 months ( is not Premium Processing ) .
During this period, can I travel outside USA ? I read some comments stating that petition will be withdrawn if I do so . Maybe is just a confusion .
It will be great to clarify this issue for me . I know you guys are professionals in immigration issues

Craap!!!! I have visited India 5 times in last 7 years. The officers have been very courteous and help. This mail is to discredit the system. Please stop discrediting your motherland. We are the people who have abondened our motherland, now don't abuse it. I wonder people like Kalloo dada on H1B are abusing India. What they'll do when they get their GC/Citizenship. My RIR is rejected. My LC is still pending.
My lawyer says it is moved to TR queue
If My case is moved to TR queue, does it mean very significant delay in getting my LC? Because in such a case this is my breaking point.Ready to quit and give up after these years and years if pain
As qualified_trash said your LC has not been rejected and you do not seem to be in a difficult situation. Your first post meant that you have lost all hope and your LC has been denied after waiting for several years. You may want to post all facts and details in the posts so that members get a complete picture. I would also suggest familarizing yourself with the labor certification process so that HR department and Lawyers do not take you for a ride or lack of information causes confusion or depression. It is very common amongst us to not know each and every law and process details, and lack of such information makes this greencard process much more tough than what it is already.

This came up to my mind : In senate there was voting on whether to bring immigration bill or not on to table , voting is around 60+ - 30+ , now these 30+ are sure they are going to reject it atleast with 90% confidence. we need to target the remaining 60 more compared to 30 who are already against to senate bill. This is very imp i dont know how to gather those details any help please ?

I don't think that would be okay as you would then be jumping the hoop of I-140. I think we should just stay with the modest request of "filing 485" without visa number availability.
even if we can file for 485, the only possible way to move is by using AC-21 provisions, correct?
Also, when using AC-21 provisions to shift the job, do we need to ensure that the job description and responsibilities are similar to the previous job?

After seeing so much activism on Dream Act in the news, I think Dream Act deserves to be passed. Recapture does not. We are responsible for it for not doing anything if Dream Act passes. Just Google Dream Act and you will see so much work done on this. Compare it to Recapture bill. Reporters will also write about issues where they see lot of activity. We are simply not doing enough.
DREAM act is a political issue if passed will get Democrats millions and millions of hispanic votes and possibly help them in 2012 election. Republicans will also want those votes. So there is a possibility that DREAM will pass some day. It is unfortunate illegal aliens get path to citizenship and legal immigrants like us have to wait on an untimed line with a hope to get green card. It is all politics my friends. Bottom line is they are illegal when they came here. If they are students they should get F1 visas if they are working should get work permits. Giving them citizenship is ridiculous. No one supports our cause, not even the Hispanic community. Dude we should oppose illegal immigration that has kept legal immigration at hostage. Jai Hind!1

Is this movie advocating something? Like a bill or provision? Just saying here are a bunch of immigrants with their stories does not do any good. There are many immigrant stories in media already. What special are you bringing to the table?
Does the movie tells people to go to Immigrationvoice and support immigrants? So what is your message? How exactly you want immigrants to support Immigrantion voice? If you say that you are trying to raise awareness in Americans, then how about asking Americans to listen to Immigration voice and support IV. Have you said that. You have just shown pretty picture and a fancy music and trying to sell your movie.
What is the script of the movie? Has it been approved by IV? If it is not approved by IV, why are you using IV for your movie's publicity.
How is this movie going to help Immigrants? Will you be donating all money made by publicity and selling of movie to IV?

Sometimes it's hard to get the dust off the sensor with one cleaning. I've cleaned mine once so far, and it still has some dust. I need to get some compressed air so I can recharge my $3 "sensor brush" from walmart and clean the CCD again. ;)

There are no TAX on selling price as long as you stayed in the house for 2 year , you can exclude up to $250,000 ($500,000 for a married couple)
If you meet the two-year ownership and use tests for a principal residence, and don't sell more than one principal residence in any two-year period, you can exclude any capital gain tax on the sale - up to the $250,000 or $500,000
When you close your sale, your real state lawer will pay to your bank, your real estate agent, your reality transfer fee and other misc fee like Attorney fee etc.
I have sold 2 houses in last 7 years and no real estate lawyer ever asked for 10% tax!!!

When you go to get social security # with I797 the Buddas/Buddis at the counter wil ask for the Passport and Stamping..... and just the 797 will not suffice....

My sincere advice - if u are here currently on a visa then forget about applying for GC..! Complete your education and get ur degree. Then - PACK UR BAGS AND GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY OR just go back home.! This GC is bussiness is honestly not worth it anymore.!! Sorry if i sound frustrated or disheartening but I'm only being practical & realistic.!
